Wingham Trotters
Set up some 25 years ago by a group of village "joggers" the original "Fun Run" has now become a major Road Race.
Association Football

The main force is with the Sunday team who are in Division 2 of the Herne Bay and Whitstable Sunday League
Wingham Cricket Club
Based at the Recreation Ground, this popular club has enjoyed recent success. 2011 saw them Champions of the Kent County Village League for the third year in a row. 
With the sea within 12 miles on three sides of the village sea angling readily available.  There are a number of course fishing venues, the nearest is on the picturesque Wingham Fisheries
Martial Arts 
A children's group (-18) meeting in Wingham Primary School, which often brings back medals from local and national competitions. Senior classes are at Sandwich Guild Hall.
Short Mat Bowls 
Wingham Short Mat Bowls Club
Indoor bowls at the Village Hall began in 1991. The club continues to thrive.
Wingham Lawn Tennis Club
Wingham Tennis Club owns two hard courts on Wingham Recreation Ground
